The very young and visibly inexperienced waitress was completely overwhelmed. And the food...? In terms of price-performance ratio, it doesn't do very well. For the fact that the prices z. Some of them are significantly higher than elsewhere in the region, one simply expects "more". Among other things, that special requests are met. Conclusion: there is room for improvement.

Home cooking. Price / performance ratio ok, drinks rather cheap ... We felt comfortable.

So we enjoyed it very much, friendly cook, good service, everyone went out of their way to look after the guests. Slightly more expensive than normal but the food is worth the money and that is the most important thing, quality has its price! Nice rustic beer garden in the shade. No mass processing like so often in the beer gardens of the region ......

You have to imagine that: here on the Internet on the website, the Sauerbraten with dumplings and red cabbage is still praised on the menu at € 9.90. Before the turn of the year it already cost € 11.90, and now - today I had to pay € 13.90 for it. My food no longer tastes like it, no matter how the cook cooked it. We ended up here by chance, invited friends from Frankfurt here and then came back because it was so good. But from now on this house no longer sees us. The pork fillet meanwhile € 17.90 It was a higher-priced place before, but increasing the price by € 4 knocks the barrel out. And that in a village on the edge of Franconian Switzerland. I do not need to go into the quality of the food and the service, it would be unfair to write about it today given the great disappointment. The pretzel soup 4.50 € in front, the carp (ordered as a small carp) 11.40 € (what is a big one then ??) And a small beer to top it off € 2.20 (a small one !!)

Hosts and conditions super friendly and the food outstanding. 2 pounds of rump steak on the second roasted, towering meat. There was no steakhouse yet.

Nice staff and warm hosts! We ate here very well in our short break with the whole family (especially the carp) and felt well cared for. We'll be back!

Cozy beer garden, attentive and friendly service, delicious, varied food and very good beer (also non-alcohol tastes very good).

Went with bus in the restaurant and wanted to settle in the outdoor area (at high temperatures) and were unfriendly directed by the host in the harsh tone inside - there is covered and not outside. Eternal waiting for drinks and food, which was reserved. Claimed asparagus dish - 14.90 euros - would be rejected by the host in unfriendly tone # -either they eat or not, but do they #. Impossible behavior from the host, but friendly operations.

A bit out of the way, in a small village near Forchheim, this hotel is a perfect example of hospitality. The host even let me choose the room and gave me great tips for a running track. The rooms are very clean and tidy it should be emphasized that the floor is not a carpet, but laminate. The bathroom is big enough and clean. After Erlangen it is a quarter of an hour by car. Thank you and gladly again on the next visit in Erlangen.

Were there again for lunch, and have to say that the food tasted very delicious. The Schäufele and the deer are highly recommended. Price performance is right here
